AT MILLS LAKE
1-Temperature: teens to twenties / Wind: almost none

AT BLACK LAKE
Temperature: teens probably / Wind: slight
Time to goal: 3 hrs with stops / 2.25 hrs hiking

1-Take the backtrail again to Nymph Lake
2-Then bushwack past the Crux to Haiyaha

AT THE LAKE
1-Temperature: 0 deg. maybe / Wind: 5-10 mph
2-But the wind was only at Haiyaha

THE WAY THERE
1-The day begins well
2-Our goal in sight. Only need microspikes today!
3-The winter approach to the Loch
4-Between the Loch and a hard place
5-The precarious boulder, and we had to
squeeze behind it on the way down

AT THE LAKE
Temperature: ~10 deg.  Wind: negligible
1-Looking back towards the Loch
2-Success!
3-The hard-faced majesty surrounds and soars around you
4-It's easy to imagine other-worldliness up here

HEADING OFF-TRAIL
1-Day dawns late, so head out early

3-Almost there - follow the stream

1-And over the boulders
2-Waddling onto the Lake
  Temperature: 0 deg. / Wind: 5-10 mph
3-Ice uplift close to shore
